Khashoggi

On June 19, 2019, it has been reported that a U.N. rights investigator said that the evidence, which is said to receive from Turkish authorities, suggests Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman (MBS) and other senior Saudi officials are liable for the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The 100-page report had been sent to Saudi Arabia, but there is not any response from the country only denying the accusations of the involvement of the price. The special rapporteur on extrajudicial from the U.N., Agnes Callamard, who had said that the prince is liable for this murder, called for countries to keep pressuring and sanction Saudi while the Crown Prince MBS and his personal assets until or unless proved innocence. Khashoggi had written many critics regarding the country and the prince. He is also a Washington Post columnist and was last seen at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on Oct 2, 2018, while expecting to receive the document ahead of his wedding. Until now, his body has yet to be found.
