Map Tha Phut

On September 24, 2019, the Cabinet has approved the draft contract of the deal to expand a port in Map Ta Phut industrial estate (Map Tha Phut Phase 3) in Rayong province worth around 50 billion baht. GPC, which consists of Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited (GULF) and PTT Public Company Limited (PTT), forming in a consortium, is the only qualified winner in this project. Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) will also join in the investment of Map Tha Phut Phase 3 Project with GPC by investing 710 million baht per annum for 30 years. GULF closed the day at ฿154.00/share, increased ฿4.50/share or 3.01% with a trading value of 1,928 million baht. PTT closed the day at ฿46.25/share, increased ฿0.50/share or 1.09% with a trading value of 1,813 million baht.
