Six political parties, including Pheu Thai, Future Forward, Seri Ruam Thai, Prachachart, Puea Chart, and Thai People Power Parties, have joined in the official statement to state their intentions of forming a government for democracy against National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) aka the junta’s government. New Economic Party’s Mingkwan Sangsuwan was absent due to a personal matter, but has assured yesterday that he would keep his word on joining the party that wishes for democracy. Most political parties criticize the Election Commission of Thailand (EC) on the delay election results which is now stopping the tally at 95% and demand EC to release the results as soon as possible. Pheu Thai and other six parties have signed ratification which confirms that they will join forces to stop the junta’s power and work toward democracy together. Currently, they acquire 255 seats in the House, even though the tallying has not complete, the results would not be much different. Palang Pracharat Party currently has 116 seats while the Democracy Party and Bhumjaithai Party which acquires 52 seats and 51 seats, respectively, have yet to announce a coalition.
